Genesis House  served the community well for twenty years by providing intermediate care to the developmentally disabled. 

By expanding our community based group homes, we were able to transfer the residents of Genesis House into smaller, more home-like residential settings.

Avancer currently runs 15 homes in the following areas: Genoa, DeKalb, Sycamore, Cortland, and Davis Junction.

The persons themselves were first and foremost our guide in moving individuals into the community.  Their Interdisciplinary Teams have developed person-centered plans tailored to each individual's unique wants and needs.

We continue 24-hour staffing and provide supports consistent with each residents medical, personal, and social needs.

Genoa remains our base of operations.
