Avancer was established in August 2001 with four homes in the DeKalb and Sycamore area. 

 Avancer currently runs 14 homes in the following areas: Genoa, DeKalb, Sycamore, Cortland, and Davis Junction.

Our mission is to provide homes in the community that offer Individuals with Developmental Disabilities opportunities for choice, growth, independence and personal fulfillment.

We serve adults who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability who require 24 hour supervision and/or nursing care.
